Tips to Protect Against COVID-19
If you have recently traveled to an area where the Corona Virus (COVID-19) was present, self-isolate for 14 days and contact a health care provider to get tested for the virus if symptoms develop
If you are feeling sick in general, stay home until you are better
If you have to go out while you are sick to see a health-care provider, wear a medical-grade face mask
Always cough into your arm or sneeze into a tissue and wash your hands afterwards
Always throw away your used tissues into a garbage can after blowing your nose and wash your hands or use sanitizer – don’t leave your used tissues laying around
Sanitize your personal items such as your cell phone, electronic tablets/iPad, debit/credit cards, & car keys frequently
Frequently sanitize your work station (landline phone station, keyboard, mouse) and the space around those items
Keep your hands away from your face (eyes, nose, mouth)
Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis – Wash with hot, soapy water for at least 20 seconds or sing “Happy Birthday” twice – Remember to scrub under your nails
Keep hand sanitizer in your car or purse and use after being in a public place
And of course, remember to wash your hands once you get home from work, the grocery store, or any other public place
